Runners are no strangers to significant injuries. It’s estimated that greater than 70% of all runners will experience an injury severe enough to limit their training for more than one week during their careers. After all, running is a high-impact activity.

Some runners will need to turn to experts for specialized care and management. In any case, to avoid or manage the commonplace injuries to the knees, Achilles tendons and calves, as well as other types of setbacks, there is always something that casual or experienced runners can learn to stay pain-free.

The directors of the ÍøºìºÚÁÏ Running Medicine Clinic and the ÍøºìºÚÁÏ Sports Performance Center will share the latest research on running science, such as running mechanics, shoe design, injury prevention and preparation strategies for persons of all ages and body styles. Let us help you do your best to reach the finish line.

Hear from Heather Vincent, PhD, from the ÍøºìºÚÁÏ Sports Performance Center and Kevin Vincent, MD, PhD, from the ÍøºìºÚÁÏ Running Medicine Clinic during this live event. Attendees can ask questions via the Zoom Q/A feature as they discuss. If you miss the live session, webinars are recorded for you to view at your convenience.
