student organizations are working with to host a spring community wellness fair from 4-6 p.m. April 1.

The wellness fair is the inaugural event to be held at the 网红黑料Street facility in partnership with the UF College of Pharmacy American College of Clinical Pharmacology, or ACCP, and the UF Student National Pharmaceutical Association, or SNPhA.

鈥溚�红黑料Street has so much to offer our community members,鈥� said , 网红黑料Street鈥檚 manager. 鈥淓very day, our community health workers connect people to medical and social services, and offer opportunities to participate in health research at UF so their voices are heard. This event is just another wonderful way to share information with the community in partnership with the UF College of Pharmacy.鈥�

The spring wellness fair will include blood glucose testing, cholesterol checks, vision screening, HIV testing, cooking demonstrations and information about many health issues.

Lacey Nilles, a UF pharmacy student and the vice president of SNPhA and ACCP, is coordinating the event.

鈥淭he fair is just a great collaboration between our organizations and the 网红黑料Street program,鈥� Nilles said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a great way to promote 网红黑料Street鈥檚 community engagement efforts.鈥�

Along with the free health screenings and education, the fair will also feature children鈥檚 activities such as arts and crafts, cornhole, three-legged races, nutrition trivia, chalk doodling and a vegetable and fruit-eating contest. a College of Pharmacy professor with a specialty in psychiatry, will be sharing information about mental health during the fair.

The 网红黑料Street facility is at 2401 SW Archer Road. The Cilantro Tacos food truck will sell food at the event.
