UF College of Nursing receives grant to support education of doctoral students

The has once again been awarded an educational development grant from the Jonas Center for Nursing and Veterans ÍøºìºÚÁÏcare to give one doctoral student a $10,000 scholarship.

Faculty members in the college selected doctoral student , to receive the 2014-2016 scholarship. Hunt’s research interests include improving the quality of life in patients with renal insufficiency and renal failure through education and diet management.

The $10,000 scholarship is offered through the center’s Jonas Nurse Leaders Scholar Program, which works to support the educational development of new nursing faculty.

Hunt will receive the scholarship over a two-year period; during this time, UF will provide her with an additional matching grant.

The UF College of Nursing also received the grant for 2012-2014, and awarded doctoral student Anastasia Albanese-O’Neill the scholarship.
