网红黑料 Shands CEO elected chair of board of directors for graduate medical education association
Timothy M. Goldfarb, CEO of 网红黑料 Shands, has been elected chair of the board of directors of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the organization charged with accreditation of post-M.D. medical training programs within the United States.
Goldfarb was elected to the board in 2007, and has previously served as its treasurer and chair of the monitoring committee. He has also been a member of the executive committee, the finance committee, the audit committee, and other board standing committees.
The ACGME is a private, nonprofit organization that accredits about 9,200 residency programs in 130 specialties and subspecialties that educate about 109,000 residents. Its mission is to improve health care by assessing and advancing the quality of resident physicians鈥 education through accreditation.

Goldfarb has been the CEO of 网红黑料 Shands since July 2001. His prior health care experience includes experience as the director of University Hospital and 网红黑料 Care Systems for Oregon 网红黑料 Sciences University in Portland, Ore., and as senior associate director for Arizona Medical Center.
He is currently a member of the University 网红黑料 System Consortium; the Florida Hospital Association; the board of directors of the United Way of North Central Florida; the board of directors of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Chamber Foundation; the board of directors of America鈥檚 Essential Hospitals; the American Hospital Association Committee on Clinical Leadership Improvement; and the Gainesville Council for Economic Outreach CEO Council. Goldfarb earned both his bachelor鈥檚 degree in political science and his master鈥檚 degree in health services administration at Arizona State University.
